Welcome! I’m Jefferson Coyle, and I’m so glad you’re here.
My career has always been rooted in a single, driving mission: helping people navigate complex systems so they can live better lives. For nearly two decades, I dedicated myself to the field of education, where I learned that the most impactful work starts with a foundation of trust and a positive relationship. Whether I was working with students or colleagues, I found that people thrive most when they feel heard and supported.
My Background
My journey began in the heart of the Silver Falls School District, where I spent a decade as a Physical Education teacher. That experience taught me that growth isn’t just about the curriculum—it’s about building relationships and fostering a culture of teamwork.
My path has led me through several key roles that have shaped my perspective:
- School Leadership: Served as a Basic Skills Teacher and Behavior Specialist, while spearheading the Playworks Leadership program to foster a positive school culture
- Higher Education & Operations: Spent 7 years in Academic Affairs at the University of Phoenix, refining my understanding of adult learning and organizational systems.
- Public Health Advocacy: Worked within the Oregon Health Authority Medicaid program, gaining firsthand insight into the complexities of healthcare navigation.
My Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s in Health Education, but I believe the most valuable lessons are learned through active participation in our community. Whether I’m coaching a youth basketball team or helping a local family navigate the intricacies of Medicaid, I bring the same level of dedication and integrity to the table.
Why I Do This
Silverton and the surrounding Willamette Valley are more than just where I work—they are where I live and raise my family. I founded Silver Creek Family Partners to combine my professional expertise with my passion for community health and education. I believe that when we have the right tools and a trusted partner, we can overcome any systemic hurdle.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring my passion for health and wellness. I believe that taking care of ourselves is the first step toward being fully present for others. Whether I’m focusing on physical fitness or personal growth, I’m always looking for ways to foster wellness in every area of life.
I believe in the power of a kind word, a clear explanation, and a genuine human connection. I look forward to connecting with you!
